Dear Parishioners:
Lent offers us all a very special opportunity to grow in our relationship with God and to deepen our commitment to a way of life, rooted in our baptism. In our busy world, Lent provides us with an opportunity to reflect upon our patterns, to pray more deeply, experience sorrow for what we've done and failed to do, and to be generous to those in need. I wish to invite you to make this Lent of 2022 a significant and uplifting spiritual experience. Our parishes and our regional churches (back side of page) will offer the following opportunities to assist us in our spiritual growth. May our Lord bless us all on this journey ahead!
P.S. As we watch the tragic situation unfolding in Ukraine, I urge you to join me in prayer for a swift return to peace for the people of Ukraine and for the safety of all those in harm's way. As Pope Francis shared, "May the Queen of Peace preserve the world from the madness of war."
